Katelyne Hale, PA-C is a dedicated Physician Assistant specializing in gastroenterology. Her journey in healthcare began with a strong academic foundation at the University of Florida, where she earned her Bachelor of Health Science degree, graduating Cum Laude in 2013, followed by her Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies in 2017.

Katelyne’s commitment to excellence is reflected in her extensive clinical and professional experience. She began her career in family medicine, providing comprehensive primary care to patients of all ages, before transitioning her focus into gastroenterology and hepatology at UF Health Jacksonville. During her time there, she collaborated closely with teams across multiple clinics and in the hospital setting, gaining invaluable experience in managing a wide range of gastrointestinal disorders.

Throughout her career, Katelyne has been recognized for her dedication to patient-centered care. She believes that good quality patient care comes from carefully listening to the patient’s history, providing education to the patient about their disease process, and actively including the patient in their own treatment plan. Katelyne’s passion for gastroenterology, combined with her warm and empathetic approach, makes her a valued member of the GATGI team and a trusted healthcare provider for her patients.

Katelyne came to the Hampton Roads area after her husband was stationed in Virginia Beach with the United States Navy. She enjoys spending time with her husband and two dogs. Her favorite hobbies include traveling the world, listening to Taylor Swift, reading, and watching reality TV. She can often be found passionately cheering on her New England and Florida Gator sports teams.
